Ben Davis is a versatile writer and director based in Los Angeles, originally from Dallas, who weaves together genres with a focus on mental health, family, and faith—be it spiritual, internal, or amorphous— often adding a satirical edge. He’s collaborated with top Hollywood talent, is repped at Verve, and managed at Time Train. His screenwriting highlights include WATCH THE SKIES topping the Blacklist website in 2016 and two Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalists, PHOENIX TO KIEV and CHASING SHADOWS. Ben’s award-winning shorts have screened at festivals including Austin Film Festival, the Ouray International Film Festival, Dallas International Film Festival, and Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival. On the commercial front, he’s directed spots for brands like Netflix, McDonald’s, Metro by T-Mobile, Sega and more. His biggest challenge? Writing this bio in third person. It was sheer agony.
