There’s magic in the everyday, and I love capturing those slice-of-life moments through a cinematic lens. Whether it’s a simple exchange or a fleeting look, I believe every moment has the potential to be extraordinary. By focusing on thoughtful composition and the beauty in the ordinary, I’ve brought these moments to life in spots that feel both authentic and deeply human. This is a collection of some of those spots.

SINCLAIR: FILL UP YOUR LIFE

DIRECTOR’S NOTES:

Shooting the Sinclair Fill Up Your Life campaign was all about capturing the essence of Americana. We leaned into a red, white, and blue color palette to emphasize that classic American feel, while using Cooke lenses, haze, and lens flares to create a warm, nostalgic look. These are stories told through facial expressions, and the warmth and authenticity we got from our talent, Ashton Degroot and Josh Colson, was perfect. They met on set and later married in real life, which added a genuine connection to their performances. It was a project that blended cinematic techniques with subtle, heartfelt moments, making the everyday feel truly special.

BP OIL: STEM SPORTS

DIRECTOR’S NOTES:

For the BP STEM social media campaign, we focused on highlighting different sports while keeping the visuals clean and warm, using Zeiss lenses to capture that rich, inviting look. The heart of the campaign was all about the facial expressions—letting them tell the stories of hope, determination, and the intersection of science, both on the field and in the classroom. The goal was to create a connection through those subtle, powerful moments that tied sports and STEM education together seamlessly.

SULZER: HOMERUN

DIRECTOR’S NOTES:

The Sulzer shoot was one of those projects where we had to get creative with a nimble crew and a micro-budget, making the most of every resource. To fill the stands for the baseball game scene, we brought in friends and family, giving it an authentic, community feel. For the plant shots, we used real Sulzer plant workers, which added to the realism and kept things grounded. The spot is fun and slick, letting the framing and cuts do the heavy lifting in telling the story. It’s a great example of how we stretched what we had to pull off something polished and engaging.

SONGBIRD

DIRECTOR’S NOTES:

The Songbird shoot was all about capturing a lot with as little as possible. We hit nearly 25 locations in three days around Fort Worth, making sure we had plenty of material for the edit. It was all about keeping the footprint small while still getting enough to tell a full story. We went for a minimal crew to stay nimble, and despite the ambitious scope, the results were warm and sweet, thanks to natural performances and the use of anamorphics. That final wedding shot and grandpa’s birthday cake—are easily some of my favorites.
